Alpha is second-in-command of the secret organization, Shadow Garden, in the anime series, The Eminence in Shadow. After being cured of demon possessing her by Shadow, she swears her alliance to him. Besides being a powerful swordfighter, she assists Shadow by being the leading presence of organization and manages it.
