Tarrant Hightopp, also more famously known as the Mad Hatter in the movie Alice in Wonderland, is a recurring character in the series. He is usually known for his iconic top hat and orange hair that he gained from mercury poisoning. He is a hat maker from a family of hat makers, but now the last of his kind. The destruction of his clan caused something in the Mad Hatter?s mind to also break, leaving him detached from reality and developing a minor split personality. While his mind may not all be there, that doesn?t stop him from doing what is right.
